Juice Wrld was an American rapper, singer, and songwriter who was best known for the tracks All Girls Are the Same and Lucid Dreams.

Juice Wrld’s Early Life

Juice Wrld was born on December 2, 1998, in Chicago, Illinois, United States. Jarad Higgins is his given name, and he was born under the sign of Sagittarius. His parents moved to Homewood, Illinois, about a year after he was born.

His parents split when he was three years old, and he and his elder brother were adopted by his single mother. He had always been interested in hip hop, but his mother, who was quite religious and traditional, would not allow him to listen to it.

He adored Black Sabbath, Blink 182, Billy Idol, and a slew of other musicians. He also began playing the piano at the age of four, after being encouraged by his mother. He eventually began to pay for classes, first for piano, then for guitar and drums.

Juice is of African-American ancestry and is a U.S. citizen. Wrld was a habitual drug user who started drinking lean in sixth grade and then moved on to Percocet and Xanax in 2013.

He did, in fact, smoke cigarettes, which he stopped doing in his final year of high school owing to health concerns. In terms of his academic background, he attended Homewood Flossmoor High School and began rapping seriously in his sophomore year.

After a medical issue at Chicago Airport, Jarad Anthony Higgins, better known by his stage moniker Juice Wrld, died on December 8, 2019, at the age of 21. On December 13, 2019, he was laid to rest in the Holy Temple Cathedral Church of God in Christ in Harvey, Illinois.

On January 22, 2020, the Cook County Medical Examiner determined that he died due to dangerous quantities of oxycodone and codeine in his system.

Juice WRLD grew interested in rock and pop music after hearing songs by Black Sabbath, Blink 182, and Panic at the Disco. During his freshman year of high school, he started honing his musical skills. When Juice was in his senior year, he began to consider a future in rap music.

In 2015, he uploaded his debut tune, Forever, on SoundCloud under the alias name JuicetheKiss. His mobile phone was used to record these tracks. Juice’s first album, Juiced Up The EP, was released in January 2016.

Too Smooth and Runaway Freestyle were among the singles featured. After being inspired by musician Tupac Shakur, he changed his stage name to Juice WRLD. WRLD was considered by Juice as a metaphor for taking control of the cosmos.

In 2017, he collaborated with producer Nick Mira on a single tune. Southside, Waka Flocka Flame, and Lil Bibby were among the musicians that appreciated the single. ‘Nothings Different,’ his second EP, was published in December 2017.

‘Lucid Dreams’ and ‘All Girls Are the Same,’ two of his greatest singles, landed on the Billboard Hot 100. In May 2018, the song ‘Lucid Dreams,’ along with a music video, was re-released and reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States.

‘Goodbye & Good Riddance,’ his debut studio album, was released on May 23, 2018, and was followed by two singles, ‘EP’ and ‘Too Soon…’ Travis Scott, The Chainsmokers, Future Ski Masl the Slump God, and other musicians have collaborated with Juice.

He credits Billy Idol, Eminem, Black Sabbath, Chief Keef, and Kanye West as influencing his choice to pursue a career in music. His Google Drive was hacked in August 2018, and over 100 unpublished tracks were exposed. He then went on to formally release some of the previously leaked tunes.
