Dennis Rader’s Early Life
Dennis Rader is 76 years old, having been born on March 9, 1945. Born in Pittsburg, Kansas, in the United States, He is a citizen of the United States. He, too, is a Christian, and his zodiac sign is Pisces. In terms of his family, he was born to William Elvin Rader and Dorothea Mae Rader. Dorothea is a chef and William is a former member of the US Marine Corps who afterward worked for the electric firm KG&E. Similarly, he grew up in Wichita with three additional brothers called Paul, Bill, and Jeff Rader.
Dennis Rader’s Education
Dennis graduated from Wichita Heights High School in 1963 after attending Riverview Elementary School and Wichita Heights High School. He worked for a few months after that before enrolling at Kansas Wesleyan College in 1965. He dropped school after two semesters and enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1966. He served in the Air Force for four years. He was also awarded the Air Force Good Conduct Medal, the Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon, and the National Defense Service Medal during his time in the military.
In 1973, he returned to Butler County Community College in El Dorado, where he earned an Associate’s degree in Electronics. He enrolled at Wichita State University the next year. He used to dream about tying up and rapping females when he was younger. He also began torturing and hanging animals such as dogs and cats. For a long time, though, he kept his evil side concealed from the rest of the world.

Dennis Rader’s Career
Dennis Rader used to work at an IGA supermarket’s meat department. He worked at a variety of locales throughout the early 1970s. In late 1973 or early 1974, he also worked for Cessna, an aircraft manufacturer. He was, however, quickly sacked. He was jobless for a long time, which bothered him. Then he reverted to gloomy dreams that had plagued him since infancy. He was having problems at the time with Julie Otero, a Hispanic lady, and her daughter, Josephine, who resided in a neighboring neighborhood. Then he began to harass them, even tying and abusing them. He entered their residence armed on January 15, 1974, and murdered all four people inside.
Then she began to do the same. He assaulted Kathryn Bright, 21, and his brother Kevin on April 4, 1974. Kathryn was slain by stabbing her numerous times, and Kevin was shot, but he survived. He claimed to be the “BTK” meaning “Bind, Torture, Kill” killer in a series of scary letters to the police in 1974. He began to concentrate on his work when he was hired by a business that specialized in the installation of alarm systems. Moving on, in 1977, he murdered Shirley Vian and Nancy Fox for the second time. The killings in Kansas in 1977 horrified the state, and authorities cautioned residents to be cautious. Dennis was apprehensive of the increased police activity, and he didn’t murder for a few years.
Between the late 1970s and the early 1980s, Dennis did not commit any crimes since he had a job and a family. In 1985, however, he assassinated his next-door neighbor, a Marine. After a year, he murdered Vicki, a young mother. He murdered Dolores Davis, an elderly woman, in 1991 after he broke into her home.
He sends a floppy CD to the police after writing many letters to them, which was a huge error. The source of the floppy disc was quickly tracked out by the police, and he was detained on February 25, 2005. During the questioning, Dennis confessed to all of his misdeeds. He was then sentenced to life in prison for his ten murders. He is now being held at Kansas’ El Dorado Correctional Facility.
Dennis Rader’s Relationship
Dennis is presently single and confined to a jail cell. Previously, he was married to Paula Dietz. On May 22, 1971, the pair tied the knot. They have two children together: a boy and a daughter. He did, however, maintain a decent reputation as a husband and father in his family. His wife and children were completely unaware of his deadly tendencies. Paula was astonished when he was jailed in 2005, and she was given an instant divorce. His children, too, have severed all communication with him.
